Jen-Loc arose out of a need for a more environmentally and health conscious way to treat our community’s challenging water and soil ​situations, that left a softer footprint than traditional choices.

After almost 20 years in the water and water treatment industry, in January of 2019, Jen-Loc, LLC, was established as a local Vermont resource for severe water quality challenges. The Niles International Corporation (NIC) offers a line of clinical grade Clinoptilolite, a natural zeolite media, under the trademark name of AquAmerica (its Specialty Filtration Division) that outperformed anything historically on the market. This media has a multitude of applications to touch just about every aspect of our lives, and make our health, our surroundings and our planet better than we have been leaving it, or that we encounter. It became a “no brainer” to choose to bring this to the World, the question was “how?”.

This media is NSF-61 compliant clinical grade certified pure and is a naturally hyper-porous volcanic mineral with ionic exchange capability, and size exclusion characteristics. The media is best described as a natural molecular sieve and comes from the most pure (certified 98.44%) Clinoptilolite deposits presently known in North America.

The media is specially formulated to buffer/balance low pH, remove sediment, heavy metals and a host of other harmful substances. While no manufacturer can ever responsibly claim that their products are 100% effective on all contaminants, this media is specifically engineered and formulated as a world class water filtration product to effectively remove these contaminants.

NIC’s products are backed by over 10 years of testing and certifications by independent third parties, that are nationally accredited analytical laboratories that specialize in the fields of water science and safety.

Meet Jen

Jen comes from a water well drilling and water treatment background of almost 20 years and Steven has a strong background in sales and a desire to help make a difference in people’s lives. While there isn’t really a storefront to visit, the lion’s share of the manufacturing of these products happens right in Jen’s garage basement and she has a office you can visit. Currently this is an online business reaching further than local exposure.

How We Are Expanding

This technology and the ease of its application is rapidly expanding our exposure to the fields of Real Estate, Home Inspection, Financial Lending, General Contracting, Plumbing, Municipal and Commercial Water Systems. Also, to personal choice as a tenant wanting to finally be able to pour a glass of water at their faucet tap rather than keep purchasing bottled water. Restaurants and stores can produce great tasting coffee and ice without iron stain and taste, hard mineral buildup and not to mention the chemicals added to municipal water supplies.

Some of our more pressing projects upcoming involve removal of PFAS / PFOA which are popping up in the news everywhere these days. More news as those projects evolve, current testing done has shown phenomenal results. We are happy to field questions and offer more technical information should there be a need.
