Say goodbye to acid neutralizers, aeration, chemical water softeners and salt, activated charcoal, reverse osmosis and more. Jen-Loc's zeolite filter systems are the ONE solution to common – and not-so-common – water problems.

How does Zeolite work?

Find a water filter system for your home, camp, RV or multi-family dwelling.

Compare water systems before your buy.

The light is beginning to shine on problems PFOA, PFAS, arsenic, radon, pharmaceuticals and many other contaminants entering the watershed areas of our Nation’s waterways and water sources. NOW is the perfect time for those of you researching water purification system options to REALLY ask some great questions!

If you haven’t already, start with having a comprehensive water test performed on your water. This will help you to identify what your concerning contaminants really are (or are not). Just because it looks clear and tastes good, doesn’t mean it is healthy or pure!

Now, let’s look at what your water needs are daily — this helps a company determine which size unit(s) are best for your use pattern.

  • Average active household uses 75 gallons of water per person, per day (covers ingestion, bathing, laundry etc)
  • How many bathrooms?
  • Farm Animals (Ag or Hobby scales)/Gardens (Ag or Hobby scales)
  • Do you have a pool or jacuzzi tub, how much replenishment do you add a day?

Please visit our product pages for recommended system sizing help, but we strongly suggest contacting us to walk you through your best options. After all, we want you to have the right system for your needs and every project or situation is different.

Ask lots of pointed questions of the companies or systems that you are considering. You should feel confident that they are going to be able to remove all of the contaminants that concern you and your family.

Many traditional options actually require that you pre-treat the water to give the projected lifespan of their equipment, an RO or UV should have a water softener ahead of them, that is added investment and added maintenance.

How do other systems compare? Ask these questions:

How much space will this take up?
Our (whole house) point of entry units are wall mounted and take up 2 ft to 4 ft wide x 2 ft tall and 10 in deep. Under Counter is 2 ft wide, 2 ft tall and 4 in deep, easily fitting inside a cabinet.

Is this a single unit or are there multiple components?
One unit is all that you need to replace a water softener, reverse osmosis, UV and acid neutralizer.

What’s in it? Is it a natural or man-made material?
Volcanic non-biodegradable material made from hot water and volcanic ash or lava— natural zeolite — is the main (and only!) ingredient.

Does your system require electricity or need special plumbing?
No electricity is needed; it operates on your home system pressure. The drain line empties into a 5 gallon pail, it requires no adaptation of your septic lines.

Are there concentrated contaminants going into my private septic system or the municipal wastewater system?
Our media internally encapsulates the contaminants when it filters them — no concentrate is sent to septic like with Reverse Osmosis or hazardous material when removed like Granular Activated Carbon.

When does it need to be changed out or serviced?
The gauges on top show pressure loss. More than 15 psi drop means time to change that cartridge only. We give you an “expected lifespan” in terms of years depending upon water quality -if you lose pressure after weeks or months, the first thing to do is check for sediment from your well obstructing the screens (open drains and flush to a bucket) or check for IRB (see sulfur section) for premature fouling, this has an easy remedy. The technology works, you need to give it the best shot possible,

Can I do any of this myself?
In most states, as a homeowner you could install our systems yourself, however we strongly recommend instead that you hire a licensed plumber to install for you. You will be required upon checkout from our online store to check off that you understand the installation needs as described to you and follow them to qualify for warranty application to apply. All commercial installations are required to be professionally installed and fall under a different offering, please ask us about how we can help design your system.

Does the follow up work require a licensed plumber or a trained technician to perform these services?
You can change out the cartridges yourself, should you choose. It’s quite simple. There are no working parts to fail or require maintenance other than sediment clearing and watching for IRB..

Where and how are the toxic materials being disposed of when they are removed?
Our media and technology is classified and certified to be non-hazardous material before, during and after it has been used. It can be safely disposed of in a landfill — but we would love for you to re-purpose it in one of about a dozen ways, short of sending it there.
